Sew a little seam is a lovely pattern brand that I got to meet a few weeks ago. A sewing fellow shared a cutie bomber jacket she had sewn for her daughter using one of their patterns and at that time there was an special offer to buy the pdf pattern (there is also a free version for 2 years old), so I said “let’s give it a try!”.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to make the Ollie bomber for my 3 years old (blog post in the pipes) and the result was amazingly cute.
Since I bought the pattern I joined the Sew a little Seam group that Kelly Ballou (the founder) has created on FB so that we can exchange and chat about her patterns. And a couple of days ago she said she was looking for pattern testers (here you have to imagine my “oh my gosh! – What a great opportunity!! – face” so I entered my email and crossed my fingers to be one of the chosen.
This morning I woke up with a FB notification to join the private group Kelly had just created for those that will be her pattern testers so you can (again) imagine my “yeah! – I am so happy She chose me! – face (maybe next time I take selfies so you can actually see my face and stop imagining…)”
So now I just have to wait for Kelly to let us know what are the next steps. But you can be sure you will be seeing some pretty Sew a little seam sewing projects on this blog in the upcoming future, yay!!
I also like the idea of joining a worldwide group of ladies that love sewing as much as I do so that I can exchange with them and get to know each other!
